The Lumiere Residence, designed by Create Architecture, is a 25-storey apartment-style hotel located in the heart of Phnom Penh City Centre. With its emphasis on personal service and curated settings, this 166-room property offers an elevated hospitality standard, providing a sanctuary for all guests to enjoy.
The Lumiere Residence stands out with its unique design approach, focusing on the interplay of light and shadow, black and white, and a minimalist monochromatic aesthetic. The carefully crafted spaces and surfaces amplify the effect of the facade's shadows, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The interior is adorned with a monochromatic modernity discipline, promoting relaxation and allowing guests to unwind at the end of each day.
One of the key strengths of this design is its commitment to comfort, minimalism, and decluttering. The aim is to create an environment where guests can truly feel at home and be at home. The thoughtful selection of furnishings and the meticulous attention to detail contribute to a sense of tranquility and well-being.

The Lumiere Residence project commenced in 2017 and was completed in 2019. Throughout the design process, the Create Architecture team, led by Max Chung, Tan Bing Hui, and Xu Naiyan, worked diligently to bring their vision to life. Their dedication and expertise have resulted in a truly exceptional space that embodies the essence of modern hospitality.
The Lumiere Residence has garnered recognition for its outstanding design. In 2021, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Hospitality, Recreation, Travel, and Tourism category.
